Annual Competition 2024

Members may enter up to two images in each of 8 categories making a total of 16 possible entries. It is not necessary to enter all categories. Any image, regardless of when it was taken, is eligible. It need not have been entered in a monthly competition. The only restriction is that no image may be used that has been entered in a CTPS annual competition before.

The categories are Open colour, Open monochrome, Nature including Wildlife, Photojournalism, Art photography, Portraiture, Scapes, and Macro and Close up photography. Please note that, in the Nature and Photojournalism categories, no manipulation is allowed as per the PSSA category rules. A winner and two runners up will be declared in each category and the overall winner will be the photographer earning the highest number of points. The points will be allocated as: winner 3 points, 2nd place 2 points and 3rd place 1 point. The winner of each category will receive a silver medal and the overall winner will receive a gold medal. Certificates will be awarded to 2^nd and 3^rd places.

Images must be entered using the Photovaultonline upload portal. Images should be sized as for monthly competitions, i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a maximum of 2 Mbyte. Entries close on the 18th of October 2024. The winners will be announced at the annual awards function on the 27th of November.
