Andrew’s image on public display

Andrew Denny’s image, A flurry of feathers, will be part of a
group exhibition along the Sea Point Promenade during
the coming year. It is one of the Top 20 images entered in
the Orms and Canon competition Let us move you, select-
ed from more than 4 000 entries. This year’s competition
explored all aspects of movement and motion. Andrew
(with his image left) says he captured the flying pelican
in Walvis Bay, Namibia. “I only became aware of the com-
petition on the last day for entries and decided at the last
minute to enter this image, depicting movement in the
bird’s wings. He captured it on a Canon 7D Mark II with
24mm lens and camera settings of f14, 1/60 sec, ISO 100.
